In a statement to Prensa Latina, the association, which has accompanied Cuba for more than 60 years, one of the oldest of its kind globally, celebrated the legacy of the Revolution and its historic leader, Fidel Castro (1926-2016).
It also underlined its support for Cuba in its struggle against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States, a policy that it condemned.
France-Cuba recalled the conclusions of the International Tribunal that met at the European Parliament in Brussels in mid-November, which considered that the blockade imposed by Washington for more than six decades was a systematic violation of international law and human rights.
The association stressed that it will continue its activities against the US blockade and for Cuba’s removal from Washington’s unilateral State Sponsors of Terrorism list.
