Three civilians killed in Israeli bombing in northern Syria

Damascus, Dec 30 (Prensa Latina) At least three people lost their lives and two were injured by an Israeli bombardment against points located in the town of Al-Dhahabiya, in the south of the northern Syrian province of Aleppo, media outlets reported here today.

Through an information note, the Ministry of Defense had announced that Israeli fighters flying over the Mediterranean Sea, west of the province of Latakia, launched missiles against several points south of the city of Aleppo.

The attack caused some material losses, the military entity indicated.

Last Thursday, two Israeli missile attacks took place against some points in the Southern Region and the outskirts of the capital, Damascus.

So far this year, Tel Aviv has carried out almost 60 attacks against Syrian territory, under the pretext of attacking Iranian targets, while Damascus assures that these clashes cause casualties among the civilian population, seek to prolong the war, keep the country unstable and weaken its National Army.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently denounced the repeated Israeli attacks against the national territory and considered that they reveal the expansionist and criminal approach of the Tel Aviv regime.

These attacks reflect an inherent trend of Zionist leaders to persist in the approach of murder and destruction that they relentlessly apply with the aim of killing thousands of Palestinians, the Foreign Ministry stated in a letter addressed to the president of the Security Council and the Secretary General of the United Nations.
