Throughout the month of December, the public was dazzled by the exhibition and took photos and then shared unique images on social networks, where the green of nature is combined with countless colors.
The exhibition is divided into 17 immersive stations, with lights and sounds of birds, toads, and even the rustling of tree leaves, which privilege the approach to the species and emblematic spaces of the Botanical Garden, located in La Carolina Park, in the financial center of the Ecuadorian capital.
To carry out the initiative, the organizers explained they have an efficient lighting system that guarantees the sustainable use of the energy resource.
Comfortable shoes and warm clothing are enough to enjoy a nighttime experience where there is also the possibility of interacting, since almost at the end of the tour, for example, attendees pedal and illuminate the trees using bicycles.
The exhibition will be open until this Saturday “to immerse yourself in nature, in a renewed and enriched environment with the incorporation of augmented reality,” said Carolina Jijón, president of the Botanical Foundation of the Andes, administrative entity of the Garden and manager of the space.
