The award, awarded by the Ministry of Culture, further exalts the career of Hernández Rodríguez, associated with the promotion of cultural relations between Cuba and the United States. He has also published numerous books, articles and essays as an author, compiler and editor.
Graduated in French Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Havana, the expert is also a senior researcher and a Doctor in Latin American studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
