The aforementioned group released images of its bombing with kamikaze drones on the military base installed in the so-called Green Village, in the facilities of the Al-Omar oil field, in the east of Deir Ezzor province, some 450 kilometers northeast of Damascus.

It indicated that this action, like the previous ones during the last three months, are in response to the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians in Gaza.

The day before the attack, two similar actions using drones and rockets were carried out against the United States military enclaves in Kherab Jir and Al-Malkieh, in the extreme northeast of Hasakeh province.

According to Pentagon officials, more than 80 bombings have been reported against US targets in Syria since October 7, which represents an increase of 45 percent.

Washington maintains fifteen bases on Syrian territory without the consent of the Government or the approval of the United Nations.

Syria has repeatedly denounced this presence, which it has described as an occupation, and assured that the actions by the US military in the national territory encourage terrorist activities and aim to destabilize the country and loot its wealth.
