Klimov took advantage of the press conference to reject the European Union’s twelfth sanctions package, approved on December 18.
Regarding the demonstrations in Belgrade, he assured that there are contacts with Serbian colleagues, “we are against what is happening,” he added.
During the press conference, the results of the party’s work in the international sector in 2023 and its plans for 2024 were revealed.
As an initiative, the United Russia party plans to carry out a project next year to debate new forms of colonialism and advocate for respect for the free decision of countries.
“We are also planning a forum at the level of parties’ political representatives called BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) to be held in the Russian city of Vladivostok at the end of January,” Klimov said.
According to Klimov, some 47 countries expressed their desire to be part of the BRICS, which shows the significance of this alliance, “the doors are open,” he stressed.
