“We strongly condemn the visit of men of the Catholic Church to the President of the Israeli colonial occupation and apartheid state,” the document said.

The statement stressed “this visit is an offense and mockery of more than 26,000 martyrs and 60,000 Palestinians wounded by the Israeli genocide against our people. These gentlemen do not represent our people or the Palestinian Christian community”. Nor do they represent the Palestinian Jesus.

We salute those brave and honest voices of the Catholic Church that condemn the Israeli colonial occupation and apartheid state, and urge for the cessation of genocide and extermination conducted out by the Zionist state of Israel, UPAL stressed.
