Held at the Dom Alexandre do Nascimento Hospital for cardiopulmonary ailments, and attended by Cuban Ambassador to Angola Oscar Leon, the event allowed the presentation of results of the research of Cubans and Angolans linked to the health sector.

Under the slogan Cuban medicine for the good of society, and sponsored by the Meditex S.A. Clinic, the 5th National Scientific Conference and 2nd Virtual Scientific Conference dealt with issues closely related to the reinforcement of the Health Development Program, defined by the Angolan Ministry of Health for the coming year.

During the opening ceremony, Dr. Regla Angulo gave a master lecture on Cuba’s health system.
