In an interview with the PAP agency, the Polish minister assured that the blockade on grain imports from Ukraine should be maintained at least in the near future.
Poland cannot currently afford to abandon restrictive measures and no sanctions will prevent it, because if the embargo is lifted, the flow of grain from Ukraine will upset the balance of the agricultural market, Sekierski stressed.
The head of the Agriculture Ministry also indicated that the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radoslaw Sikorski, left today for Kiev so as to resolve the conflict.
