According to MINSAL, as of Dec. 16, there were 50 confirmed dengue patients, including three seriously-ill.
MINSAL´s updated data showed that hospitalizations reached 810 cases, a figure which increased slightly in the last few weeks.
MINSAL´s bulletin pointed out that 58 dengue cases were reported in 2022, i.e. those detected with warning signs this year increased by two.
MINSAL counted as many as 5,788 suspected cases of dengue fever up to Dec. 16.
Local health authorities assured that dengue cases in El Salvador are in a safe zone.
