Calm at Charles University was interrupted on Thursday, when a 24-year-old student, who had allegedly murdered his father earlier, opened fire at those who were there, killing 14 and injuring several people.

The police ruled out a terrorist attack, and indicated that they favored the hypothesis of a single shooter.
