On Wednesday, a series of tremors happened in the north of Chile, the strongest of which measured 4.5. Due to its geological conditions, Chile is a country where numerous earthquakes occur every day, although most of them are not perceptible to the population.
The country is located between the Nazca and South American tectonic plates, as well as being part of the territory that makes up the known Pacific Ring of Fire.
