Cutting off communications “poses significant challenges for our teams to reach the injured and patients, as people are unable to call the 101 emergency service,” the agency posted on X.
In this context, a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross, led by its chief, Mirjana Spoljaric, visited the PRCS headquarters in the West Bank on Friday.
Discussions covered a wide range of issues, including strengthening cooperation in increasingly challenging conditions in Gaza and looking ahead to a better humanitarian response, the PRCS announced.
The institution has repeatedly warned about the consequences of the humanitarian crisis in the coastal enclave, which has been under attacks and siege by the Israeli army for 71 days.
