Since the first trip on August 11, max capacity of containers transported in one way has been around 25 units.
The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) said in November that the ferry transported 130 containers between the two countries in the first three months of operation.
The Salvadoran Exporters Corporation (COEXPORT) indicated that the vessel had not been sailing in the last two weeks, while they were waiting for the cargo to incorporate the use of tourism between the two countries. The high tariffs from USD$1,100 to 1,360 per unit have an impact on their scarce employment as well.
