Moscow categorically rejects these actions that constitute a threat to the civilian population, the diplomat said in an interview to Al-Watan newspaper.

He warned that such irresponsible actions lead to more negative consequences for the whole region, condemning these attacks, while calling for their immediate end.

On the other hand, the ambassador explained that terrorists in Idlib or elsewhere in Syria must lay down their arms, surrender and receive the punishment they deserve; otherwise, they will be destroyed.

He indicated that the Russian and Syrian armies launched a series of precise strikes that led to the destruction of a large number of their strongholds, warehouses and equipment and manpower of the terrorist groups.

The diplomat reaffirmed that such joint actions will continue until terrorism in Idlib is eliminated.
