In a meeting, the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party praised the capacity of Palestinian fighters to face up Israel´s genocidal machinery and its allies from the United States and the West.

In this regard, the Democratic Party regretted the shameful failure of the international community after assassinations and crimes against children, women and innocent people in Gaza.

For such a reason, the Party supported the resistance operations in Lebanon and called for the preservation of human rights and international laws and conventions.

At the same time, it called on the Lebanese state to help the displaced and compensate their losses following the Israeli bombings in the south, and also wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.

In another part of the text, the Committee considered that the generalized state of vacuum in official positions further weakens the Republic, as the crisis of appointments to the Military Council, the Army Command and the Chief of Staff must be solved quickly.
