During a phone call, El-Sisi stressed Cairo’s efforts to stop the conflict in Gaza, protect civilians and increase humanitarian aid, his spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said in a statement.
According to the text, both leaders agreed upon the pressing need for the international community to take on responsibilities to put an end to the conflict. Both also urged for a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian question, based on the two-state solution.
