On Wednesday, Luis Carlos Guzmán, chief of the Cuban Fire Department, affirmed that ensuring compliance with safety and fire protection standards was a leading task in Cuba.
He said that “Cuba’s firefighters will redouble vigilance and control of compliance with safety measures. By 2024, we expect to work with new investments to avoid unfortunate events”.
