The final conference encompasses the project known as Access, whose main objective is to improve and guarantee learning conditions and promote policy change towards the inclusion of students with disabilities, local coordinator Maylé Salgado told Prensa Latina.
According to the doctor in sciences, Access includes in its program students from Cuba, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica who receive through modern practices of inclusion, training and corporate work studies that contribute to their professional formation.
Based on the official program of the event, among the purposes of Access are the establishment of a general national and regional network to consolidate interest in inclusion policies at the higher education level, the increase of inter-institutional relations and the achievement of new links between Latin American universities and European counterparts.
