DPRK warns about breaking North-South military agreement

Pyongyang, Dec 3 (Prensa Latina) The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Sunday warned South Korea about its guilt for breaking the North-South Military Agreement.

On November 22, politicians and military officials from the Republic of Korea suddenly published the suspension of the force of some articles of the North-South Military Agreement and questioned our launch of a reconnaissance satellite in orbit, Pyongyang stated in a press release.

The text recalled that such activities are part of a legal and just right in a sovereign State.

The document pointed out that Seoul rushed to mobilize its manned and unmanned aerial reconnaissance aircraft, raised the fire readiness in the Army’s advanced front, and conducted combined defense drills on Paekryong Island, one of the hottest maritime areas in the West Sea.

The situation once again proves that the DPRK’s decision to strengthen its nuclear war deterrent and modernize its armed forces was just, the press release estressed.
