However, the president pointed out that for such a fund to effectively support the most vulnerable countries to the effects of climate change, we need to mobilize financing on a much larger scale.
Accordingly, Ramaphosa referred that the work program on fair, national and international transitions involving everyone in society must be launched.
Whatever is decided at COP28, Ramaphosa stressed it must be guided by science, equity and the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities.
