In a publication on the social network X, formerly Twitter, the Nepalese prime minister informed of his meeting with the Cuban head of State as a collateral event during the Climate Change Summit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in which both are participating.
According to Dahal, the two officials reviewed the state of bilateral relations.
Díaz-Canel arrived in the UAE on Tuesday for an official visit to attend the COP28 Climate Change Conference, as part of a tour that will also take him to Qatar and Iran.
During his presentation on Friday, on the first day of the high-level segment, the President of Cuba, the country that chairs the Group of 77 and China (G77+China), called for world peace to save the planet, and condemned Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people.
The Nepalese Prime Minister, in turn, arrived in the UAE on Thursday and is expected to speak on Saturday, when he will denounce the effects of climate change on Nepal’s mountains.
