The Technological Fair was attended by experts from Banco de Crédito y Comercio, Banco Popular de Ahorro, Empresa de Tecnologías de la Información para la Defensa, Joven Club de Computación, Unión de Informáticos de Cuba, Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S.A. (ETECSA) and Parque Científico Tecnológico de Matanzas, according to the website www.radio26.cu.
Making it possible for the population to join the electronic payment channels through the services provided by banking institutions, including the delivery of Multibanca and Banca Remota cards, the elimination of records and the generation of pins, became a key task to be implemented at the Fair.
All municipalities in Matanzas will take part in unison in the Fair, scheduled from 09:00 to 12:00 hours, local time, during which participants will receive advice on the safe use of electronic payment channels and applications such as Ticket, Viajando, the sales of Segurmática’s licenses and contracts of Mi Transfer boulevard, the website pointed out.
The 2nd National Event on Cybersecurity has been held since Monday, November 20, and will conclude on November 30, under the slogan “The key to a responsible use of ICTs,” with the aim of promoting a culture of risk perception and responsibility in the use of cyberspace.
From November 21 to 26, 2022, the First National Event on Cybersecurity has become an appropriate forum to educate people about the need for computerization in Cuban society.
