Cuba celebrated the International Day of Solidarity with Palestine, implemented by the United Nations in 1977, with a political-cultural event at the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), located in the western province of Artemisa.
The event was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Jorge Luis Perdomo, the member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Jorge Luis Broche; among other representatives of political and mass organizations in the capital and the rectorate of the institution.
