According to the scheduled agenda, the meeting will be held at 15:00, local time, and is a regulatory step prior to the inauguration of the La Libertad Avanza formula (Javier Milei and Victoria Villarruel) on December 10.
Under the regulations, after receiving the results, the Assembly proceeds to add up the results to determine if Milei and Villarruel received the established majority and make their victory official.
The definitive scrutiny concluded that Milei was elected President with 14,554,560 votes (55.65%), while the candidate of Unión por la Patria, Sergio Massa, received the support of 11,598,720 citizens (44.35%).
A total of 257 deputies and 72 senators have been called to the Assembly.
The president-elect will present this day his resignation as a member of the lower house of Congress in order to assume the office of head of State.
