Referring to the facility built (worth USD$ 51.7 million), Arce granted that “its goal is to treat as many as patients who suffer from cancer, this time in our beloved city of La Paz.”
During the opening ceremony, the Bolivian leader stressed that the new center will provide patients with state-of-the-art technology for diagnostic tests and cancer treatment.
According to Arce, the national government, through the General Treasury of the Nation (TGN), invested nearly USD$52 million in this institution, where not only people from La Paz, but all Bolivians from different regions of the country will be assisted.
