Members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), the Students Federation of India (SFI) and the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) participated in the initiative under the slogan Free Palestine.
The people of India have expressed their rejection of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories and the violation of human rights of that people, whom they consider their brothers and sisters.
Since the beginning of the latest escalation of violence on October 7, mainly in the Gaza Strip, political, students and civil society organizations in India have staged demonstrations to demand an end to the massacre that Tel Aviv has been committing against the Palestinians.
On Friday morning, a truce came into force in the intense Israeli attacks on Gaza, where more than 14,000 Palestinians have been killed and 25,000 have been injured in just two months.
