RAAS Intratech PVT. Ltd., or Cingari, celebrated this anniversary in this capital, José María López, Vice President for Development at Habanos S.A., told Prensa Latina.
The executive explained that the event also included the presentation of the Quai d’Orsay brand for the domestic market with an exclusive seal and the Habanos Calvari Gold Cup, the polo trophy sponsored by the Cuban-Spanish company and its distributor in India annually.
Such a tournament is one of the leading polo events internationally, with teams competing for the trophy over several days, López said.
Before the final of the tournament, an exhibition match was held this weekend between a Habanos S.A. team and a local one, in the presence of the Cuban diplomatic corps, including Ambassador Alejandro Simancas and Cingari’s President Chetan Seth, Indian prominent figures, and Cuban cigar lovers, among other attendees from various countries.
The Habanos S.A. vice-president emphasized that it is a great satisfaction for his company to have been present in India for 25 years, during which premium cigars has gradually consolidated its position in Indian society.
