Open catheterization, cardiac surgery and computed tomography sections have a capacity of 14 beds, in addition to four beds for ICU, the medical staff explained to Arnous.
The emergency department was also reopened which would help improve the medical care for dozens of communities in the mountainous region of Al-Qalamoun.
In statements to journalists, Arnous stressed the importance of bilateral collaboration between government agencies and civil community entities and associations.
This constructive work represents a model of cooperation to improve the reality of services in various fields and contribute to rebuilding Syria and returning it to the way it was before the war, he said.
In turn, Health Minister Hassan Al-Ghobash called the opening of these medical departments a great achievement considering the difficult circumstances the country is going through.
