In his capacity as a deputy to the National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament) for this city, Díaz-Canel wrote in the book of the company, leader in the production of packaging and assembly of plastic objects in the nation: “Your contribution to the economy and defense is very important. It demonstrates the success of the socialist state company as the main economic actor in our development model.”
The also first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba began his tour, together with a group of deputies through this territory, through the ¨Si se puede farm¨ of the young producer Yunier Hernández, who has planted 40.26 hectares of beans of various types with the presence of only six men in agricultural assistance work.
“With producers like Hernández, who achieves their harvests based on science, we can guarantee the consumption of this grain for all the residents of Villa Clara,” he highlighted.
“The development of agriculture lies in local production,” he said.
The Cuban president also visited the farm of producer Yolexis la Rosa, former catcher of Cuban baseball teams, and who is dedicated with notable success to the production of cattle, the development of equine breeds and poultry.
At the state-run Mipyme (small company) Copextel SURL, the Cuban president was shown important advances in the design and execution of projects and solutions with the integration of different marketing technologies.
Finally, Díaz-Canel toured the basic production unit Cooperativa Mártires del Moncada and the queen bee breeding center, which exhibits high honey production for export and national consumption.
