“As well as to new dialogue processes to stregthening peace in Colombia,” the head of the Verification Mission of the Peace Agreement referred to the work of the outgoing High Commissioner for Peace in Colombia, who was replaced yesterday by Otty Patiño.
The UN official welcomed Patiño’s appointment and expressed, “he has the full support of the UN Mission in Colombia on the road to peace.”
The head of the Colombian Government delegation at the talks with the National Liberation Army (ELN), Otty Patiño, will run the Office of the High Commissioner for Peace, President Gustavo Petro informed yesterday.
