According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, the Agency for International Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance, White Helmets, and the Argentine Red Cross are participating in the initiative. The cargo contains more than six tons of food, medical supplies, and diapers.
According to the text, the Argentinean aid’s final destination is El Arish airport in the northern Sinai Governorate of Egypt, the region closest to the Rafah border crossing where the Red Crescent organizes and carries out entries to Gaza.
It also stated that the Ministry of Health, the campaign of the Excluded Workers Movement, religious communities, cooperatives, and private companies will hand over the aid.
In early November, Argentina sent the first humanitarian aid consisting of 400,000 water purification tablets, 57,600 units of disinfectant tablets, medicines according to the population’s needs, medical supplies, powdered milk, shoes, and clothes.
Recently, Argentina called for an end of violence and condemned the attacks by Israeli forces on the Gaza Strip.
