The meeting will occur after President Alberto Fernández received president-elect Javier Milei at the Olivos residence last Tuesday with the aim of beginning the transition between the teams designated by both in the different areas of government.
In his first speech after the elections, Milei announced a “reconstruction” process where “there will be no room for lukewarmness or half measures” and assured that his management will be based on “a limited government that strictly complies with the commitments made, the respect for private liberty and free trade.”
Shortly after, he reiterated his intentions to privatize the public media and companies such as Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales, close the Central Bank and establish that the currency be the one chosen by individuals.
Milei also considered that ending inflation will take almost two years and confirmed his desire to travel soon to the United States and Israel, who will be his main partners.
