Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodríguez and British MP David Rutley, under secretary of State for the Americas and the Caribbean at the Foreign and Commonwealth and Development Office, penned the PDCA.
Before signing the document, the two diplomats held official talks, Rodríguez wrote on his X account.
The longstanding diplomatic relations between Cuba and the UK were formalized in 1902, when Sir Lionel Carden was appointed British Minister Resident of His Majesty Edward VII to Cuba.
President Miguel Díaz-Canel visited London in 2018, and Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla came to Havana the next year.
The visit strengthened Cuban-UK relations based on dialogue and mutual respect.
