The latest report from the Health Ministry shows that 12,700 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, including 5,350 minors, 3,250 women and 695 elderly people, while the number of injured increased to more than 30,000.
It noted that the number of deaths in the West Bank rose to 216 and those wounded totaled more than 2,800.
The Ministry warned that the number of casualties might actually be much higher in the coastal enclave as more than 4,500 people are missing.
It explained that the Ministry has encountered serious difficulties to get updated data for the seventh consecutive day, due to the disruption of communications services in the Strip and the collapse of services and communications in hospitals.
At least 205 medical personnel and 36 civil defense workers have been killed by Israel, which has also damaged or destroyed 55 ambulances, the Ministry informed.
It also condemned the systematic bombings by aircraft and artillery against several hospitals, including the Al Shifa and Indonesian hospitals, both in the north of the Gaza Strip.
