“Every night, the children of Gaza shake at the sound of shelling,” the LFI warned on its X platform, noting that on this international day for children’s rights, the cry of alarm is heard from the children of Palestine.
LFI wondered how long it will be necessary to wait for an immediate end of of hostilities.
According to local sources, in the Palestinian enclave bombed by air, attacked by land and subjected to a total blockade, at least 5,000 children have been killed since October 7, the date on which Hamas attacked Israel and Israel launched an indiscriminate reprisal that has taken the lives of thousands of civilians, mostly on the side of the occupied Arab people.
On November 20, humanity commemorates the anniversaries of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child (1959) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989).
