Dozens of people –many women and children– were killed and injured while seeking safety in United Nations facilities, the head of the organization lamented in a statement released here.

Guterres said he was shocked by the attacks reported in less than 24 hours, while he insisted on his urgent call for a ceasefire.

“This war is causing an astonishing and unacceptable number of civilian victims every day, including women and children,” he added in that sense.
