Thirty percent of Argentineans registered have already voted

Buenos Aires, Nov 19 (Prensa Latina) Around 30 percent of a register of over 35 million citizens exercised their right to vote in the second round of the general elections in Argentina so far, the National Electoral Chamber reported today.

According to reports from various districts, the appointment at the polls is generally developing normally.

A disputed incident was that the candidate for vice president for La Libertad Avanza, Victoria Villarruel, insisted on denying the crimes of the last civil-military dictatorship (1976-1983) and offended those who defend the policies of memory, truth and justice.

The school where Javier Milei’s running mate voted in the town of Tres de Febrero woke up today with posters against the regime’s demands and several citizens came to repudiate her statements.

In addition, they reiterated that 30,000 were detained-disappeared during that period and urged to defend democracy.
