The announcement explains the goals, conditions of participation and nominations for the contest, as well as coverage by foreign authors of humanitarian projects with Russian participation to expand economic, social and cultural cooperation with other States.
It added that applications for the “Honest Look” Contest for foreign media will be accepted until November 21 and the results will be announced before New Year.
The main nominations this year are: “High-Tech Production,” “Social and Humanitarian Issues,” “Territorial Development,” “International Cultural Partnership with Russia,” “Promising Industries,” and “Advertising and Documentary.”
In addition, organizers plan to present several humorous nominations for those who write about Russia in different ways, the head of Rossotrudnichestvo’s information policy department, Anton Chermensky said.
The contest is open to media outlets, including television, radio, online publications, print media, individual authors, including photojournalists and bloggers over 18 years old.
The selection of entries will take place in two stages. First, experts will create a short list, eliminating inappropriate publications. The jury will then select the winners.
In addition to the entries submitted to the contest, the jury will independently choose publications about Russia by monitoring of the information space.
