According to the official’s statement, the Russian military neutralized a Ukrainian terrorist attack by shooting down the unmanned vehicle after it entered the airspace of the Russian Federation.
Bogomaz added that the operational services are working at the scene and that no casualties or material damage were reported.
In recent months, there have been nearly daily reports of Ukrainian UAV’s attacks on targets in Russia, both along the border areas with Ukraine and in remote districts.
Other Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh, as well as the Crimean peninsula, regularly report missile strikes, drone raids and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek refuge in safe places.
On August 30, drone attacks were recorded in seven Russian provinces, including Pskov, over 700 kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian border.
