The delegates come with proposals and desires to build bridges to continue to work “together for Cuba,” sources from the Association of Cuban Residents in Venezuela (ACCREVEN) told Prensa Latina.
On Friday, before their departure, they discussed several topics that they will take to the meeting in Havana, such as the strengthening of the ACCREVEN and the Venezuela-Cuba Friendship and Mutual Solidarity Movement.
Actions in defense of the Homeland, especially the fight against the United States blockade, information and dissemination of Cuba’s current situation, the launch of Accreven Empresarial in the coming days, and the organization of the 5th National Meeting on January 27 in Valencia, Carabobo state.
The national president of the Association of Cuban Residents in Venezuela, Orelbis Reyes, told Prensa Latina that the Conference will contribute to reaffirming that “the Cubans living abroad are committed to the ideas of Fidel Castro and José Martí.”
