The Spanish hotel chain where the Meliá Cuba branch operates added in its press release this Wednesday that the company continues to strengthen its portfolio of hotels in the country after the recent opening of the Sevilla Habana Hotel affiliated by Meliá.
By late 2023, the Spanish chain Meliá will also open the Sol Turquesa Beach Hotel, bringing its total number of hotels in Cuba to 34.
Located on the first line of beach, with breathtaking views of the Sierra del Escambray mountain ranges, the Meliá Trinidad Peninsula will offer a unique first-class experience just 15 minutes from the historic district of Trinidad, one of the best-preserved colonial cities of the Caribbean.
Trinidad has been declared a United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage site, and the new hotel is the perfect option to discover the destination, Meliá stressed.
Surrounded by large outdoor spaces with swimming pools and gardens overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the hotel has 401 rooms, some with impressive ocean views, 80 of which are dedicated to the exclusive Level service, where guests aged 18 and older can enjoy a more personalized stay.
The Spanish hotel chain’s press release emphasizes that Meliá Hotels International continues to strengthen its portfolio in Cuba with the opening of several hotels this year and aims to have 34 hotels in the country by late 2023, offering new experiences in both urban and beach destinations.
