The Russian delegation is headed by Alexandr Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology and co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission, KCNA reported today.
The group at the meeting, which also included the Russian ambassador here, Alexandr Matsegora, attended a welcoming dinner at which the parties reiterated their willingness to strengthen cooperation in all sectors.
Present for the hosts were Yun Jong Ho, minister for foreign economic relations and co-chairman of the DPRK Intergovernmental Commission for the DPRK, Kim Il Guk, minister of sports, and Vice-Chancellor Im Chon Il.
Yun appreciated the Russian efforts to fulfill the agreements signed during the recent visit to Russia by the general secretary of the Workers’ Party and chairman of the State Affairs Committee Kim Jong Un.
Political circles and media of the two countries noted that Kim and President Vladimir Putin held official and private talks in a cordial atmosphere where the good relationship between them was evident.
