Russia awaits full operation of commercial house in Cuba

Moscow, Nov 13 (Prensa Latina) The president of the Russia-Cuba Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boris Titov, expressed his hope that the Russian commercial house in Cuba becomes fully operational soon.

According to what the manager said this Monday to the Forpost Sebastopol digital newspaper, he expects that the Rusmarket trading house will soon go live so that Cubans can see Russian merchandise not only at the exhibition at the Havana International Fair.

Titov recalled that Havana hosted the 39th International Exhibition, one of the largest fair events in Latin America.

“Russia’s participation this year was particularly noteworthy. The Russia-Cuba Business Council, which I chair, acted as co-organizer, and two dozen Russian manufacturers participated directly,” he stressed.

Fihav 2023 was held between November 6th and 11th in 25 pavilions of the Expocuba exhibition complex, on a 6-square-kilometer area on the southern outskirts of Havana.

Representatives of companies from over 60 countries attended the event, including Brazil, Canada, China, France, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, and Venezuela.
