As part of the Havana Theater Festival program, Théatre Bascule, directed by Stéphane Fortin, with 25 years of experience, will present its play “Zoom Dada.”
“Zoom Dada” is a theatrical dance or gesture performance built around slow rhythms and frozen or cascade images in which two hip-hop dancers talk about the stage, movement, body, and childhood.
Since its foundation, Théatre Bascule’s creative work has mainly focused on wordless scenes, based on the work of its artists and juggling, dance, object performance, vertical dance, and music on stage.
The anniversary of the founding of the Village of San Cristóbal de La Habana is always swarming with activity, a warp of creative knowledge at the end of each event that brings joy to the five-century city until Sunday, November 19.
The Havana Theater Festival takes place after two years of pandemic and new experiences related to the practice of dramatic exercise.
The Festival offers more than 90 performances in 13 cultural centers, the participation of companies from seven countries, and a special homage to actor and director Sergio Corrieri on his 85th birthday.
