The Ministry of Energy and Mines revealed in a press release that the measure “is due to the favorable actions taken, plus the improvement in the flows.”
By such announcement, Ecuadorians will not have outages for at least three consecutive days, since they informed on Thursday that the measure will not be applied for the whole week.
Rainfalls registered in the lastest hours in the Amazon and the highlands improved the flow of some rivers that feed the hydroelectric power plants.
