Sergey Shirokov, deputy head of the Export Center of Riaza’s Russian region unfolded that the SKOPINPHARM Company, one of the biggest in the pharmaceutical production sector in Russia, is getting ready for a joint project with the Cuban BIOCUBAFARMA Company.

In an exclusive interview with Prensa Latina at the Riazan stand visited this week by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Shirokov pointed out there are further talks with BIOCUBAFARMA to establish part of its production directly in Riazan.

Meanwhile, the Russian authority referred to talks between PROMZONA and CUPET to establish in Cuba a joint venture for the production of equipment for processing used car oil and transmission oils to obtain diesel, which is in deficit in Cuba.

“The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment has shown interest in the project, and we hope that there will be results in that sense,” Shirokov said from a stand where over a dozen products of different areas manufactured in Riazan are exhibited.
