According to the Russian Ministry, an Il 76 cargo plane containing 25 tons of cargo, including food, personal hygiene products, clothing, portable kitchens, and blankets, landed at the Arish International Airport in Egypt.
After being unloaded, the aid will be handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent representatives for delivery to Gaza residents.
The flight was carried out following instructions by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
This is the fourth delivery of humanitarian aid from Russia to the Gaza Strip following the deterioration of the situation in that territory.
Some 115 tons of food, medicine, bandages, mattresses, pillows, and personal hygiene products were delivered earlier.
