According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Xi will also participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum, scheduled from from November 15 to 17, in San Francisco, the United States.
The meeting, which was already announced by the White House, is a new step to stabilize bilateral relations, which are at their worst moment of the recent decades.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited the United States from October 26-28. Since then, the two nations has warned about working jointly to make this meeting possible.
The head of Chinese diplomacy emphasized that the two nations should “return to Bali,” referring to the previous meeting between the presidents at the 2022 G20 Summit, at which they addressed issues related to the situation in Taiwan, the economic war, and cooperation on issues such as climate change, health, and food security.
While in the United States, Wang met with Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
These meetings were preceded by visits of senior US officials, including Blinken, to Beijing.
