Indian students reject top US officials’ visit

New Delhi, Nov 8 (Prensa Latina) The Students' Federation of India (SFI) called on Wednesday for demonstrations in support of the Palestinians and in rejection of the visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

The youth organization, which has more than four million members, thus joined demonstrations from this Wednesday to Friday, initiated with similar objectives by the Communist Party of India (CPI), Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (CPI(ML)); All India Forward Bloc (AIFB), and Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP).

According to the left parties, the national protests in different formats are a clear condemnation of Washington’s complicity in Israel’s genocide against the Palestinians.

With the demonstrations, they will demand the United States stop the financial and armament support to the Israeli army and its performance to end the siege and the Israeli occupation.
